Mountain Buggy instructions - help! Anyone got an older model?

The front wheel (it's an Urban from about 2004) keeps locking itself...I don't know how to make it swivel so just guessed and pulled out the little knobby thing and turned it a bit.

It keeps going back in again. Am I doing it wrong or is there something missing/broken?

Thanks!

(Can't seem to download older instructions from website)

I have an urban detour from 2002, and the front wheel swivel mechanism is controlled simply by sliding a black switch/lever type thing on the top of the front wheel to one side or the other. I wonder if you have actually pulled yours out too far, as mine slides flush along where it is attached to the pushchair. Perhaps if you take it to mothercare, ( i am assuming the urban is a mothercare own brand as i got mine there) they could help you??

Oh thankyou IrishMammy, but it's actually an Urban Mountain Buggy - the model which swivels is called the 'Urban'. I know the Mothercare one you're talking about, but it's a different pushchair iyswim.

Thanks so much for being helpful anyway!!

Hi we have the older version too, I think it is just a case of turning the knob until the wheel doesn't go back in. It doesn't click in or anything, it's just guess work.

Thanks Booge! Sounds like the same one

At least it isn't faulty then
