anyone got a maclaren twin traveller? need help!

just bought a twin traveller (no instruction book) and im ahving trouble trying to work out how the brakes go?!
the only way i can see to put the brake on and off is by hand as the lever is inbetween the two wheels?
am i just being thick?

I have a twin triumph
There is a lever at the bottom - middle of the right hand side - you press down with your foot and it locks the brakes on

To release the brakes you push down on each brake with your foot - one at a time
