Been looking online at these. Has anyone had any experience of either of them??

Can't comment on either of those, but we are very happy with our Eve one which we got in the Black Friday sales. Is there a particular reason you want to pick between the two you mention?

sanitygirl · 09/03/2020 18:32

I have an Emma mattress and love it - got it after my parents got one and raved about it. Make sure you find a good discount code to use - they usually have a good one on the ads on the London tube

Boopear · 09/03/2020 18:52

I have the Eve as well. Have had her (!) for about a year and she is really holding up well. Much recommended.

DesLynamsMoustache · 09/03/2020 18:54

I love our Emma mattress. Went from waking up aching to zero pain!

DesLynamsMoustache · 09/03/2020 18:55

Oh and my parents came to stay and used our bed as I went in baby's room. They went home at the end of their stay and ordered their own because they liked it so much!

sindylouwho · 09/03/2020 19:13

@CeibaTree to be honest I didn't realise there were so many similar ones. Hubby's just told me about another brand too

@DesLynamsMoustache oh wow! It must be good then!

OP posts:
sindylouwho · 09/03/2020 19:14

@sanitygirl @Boopear thanks both. I'll have a look now. There was a 40% off code on emma

boomshakalika · 09/03/2020 19:55

We just got an Emma. I thought my achy joints in the morning were just my body but nope - it was my old mattress.

sindylouwho · 10/03/2020 19:34

@boomshakalika the emma seems to be the favourite? Though I've been told to have a look at a hypnose bed too

We have recently bought an Emma and it feels like staying in a lovely hotel bed. We're really pleased with it.

sindylouwho · 10/03/2020 20:13

@evilharpy thank you for that. They are expensive so I'd really like to go on recommendation

MoominKitty · 10/03/2020 20:24

Is the Emma a firm or soft mattress? I loath soft ones so have avoided buying as you can't try in a store lol.

evilharpy · 10/03/2020 22:05

I wouldn’t say they are soft. The top is memory foam I think and if you press on it with your hand it feels soft, but not at all when you lie on it. I can’t stand soft mattresses either.

evilharpy · 10/03/2020 22:06

@MoominKitty you can try one in John Lewis, that’s what we did.

lissie123 · 10/03/2020 22:09

Love our Emma mattress. Bought it two weeks ago. So comfortable.

wrongsideofhistorymyarse · 10/03/2020 22:10

I've had the Simba for three weeks and I love it.

sindylouwho · 11/03/2020 19:18

I'd like to try one. Might pop into John Lewis

Most helpful thread of the day award.

And most helpful post of the most helpful thread goes to @evilharpy

You had me at "lovely hotel bed"

Thank you. I am off for a Google...

TeetotalKoala · 11/03/2020 19:25

We have an Emma and both DCs have an Eve. We are extremely happy with both. Best money we've ever spent!

oohnicevase · 11/03/2020 19:25

We have a simba .. it's lovely .. I'd never go back to one with springs again. I can feel all the buttons and springs when I lay on them at work ! Rubbish!

TeetotalKoala · 11/03/2020 19:27

The only downside to having a fabulous mattress is that nothing else compares. Half the time hotel ones aren't even as comfortable.

HumpHumpWhale · 11/03/2020 19:29

I have a Casper, the basic model, which was much cheaper than the others, and I love it. It's quite firm.

tellmetostopbutikeepongoing · 11/03/2020 19:50

I've got an otty! It's lovely

lettersbyowl · 11/03/2020 20:04

We have an Emma and love it!
