Hi, I'd be grateful for any advice. We bought BabyDan stair gates (wide fit) but are finding them almost impossible to use because the lift handle lock is so stiff. I've broken my wrist before and don't have a lot of power in it, but my wife can't open it one handed either. One of the grans has an easy to use, simple one from 30 years ago but no idea if anything like it is still available. Reviews of the one we bought all day it's easy to open with one hand, but there's no way either of us could do that. I don't think we're unusually weak but I can't find any sign others have the same issue. Are there any pressure-fit wide gates people would recommend for us? Cheers in advance.
