To buy a Cat S car?

As the title says really. Is it worth it?

Do insurance companies know automatically if it's been a write off when you enter the reg into a comparison site? I have done so and prices seem no more expensive (for me anyway).

I would stay away from a Cat S. There are hundreds of cars out there. Get one that's not had structural damage.

Stay away. From a safety perspective more than anything else.

It will very likely affect your premium/ability to get one too.
