Leaf Blower / vac - can anyone recommend?

I can see Lidl have them for sale, but before buying, thought I ought to get some info first and recommendations.

The council come round with these. They are incredibly noisy. Then more leaves fall and cover up their good work. What about a rake - good for a workout?

Oh Hathor! good for workout!??!!? LOL oh yes, lets add that to the other 12 hours of workout I do just running round after the kids no, leaf blower/vac - and will get it going about 7am on a quiet sunday morn.

Plan B. Sunday morning 7 amstay in bed. Give each of the dc a rake and bag. Prize for the biggest bagful. Happy children, clear lawn, happy neighbours.
