We only have carpet in the upstairs bedrooms and the stairs. our old hoover has given up the ghost so we need to buy a new one. I've always used the more 'compact' style rather than uprights, so would love some recommendations for hoovers costing 100.00 or less please!

Give Henry a try, he's lovely, particularly if you don't have much carpet (although you can get him with a beater bar which does a better job on the carpets).

I know this may sound odd = but have always hated Henry - can't have him in the house I'm afraid! Any other suggestions?

why not go for this direct.tesco.com/q/R.100-4605/btnResultSort.x%3d25/btnResultSort.y%3d13.aspx and blow the rest on something nice.

no idea how good it is! was just amazed that you could get a hoover for £15!

Hmmm.. me thinks that I may end up with a duff hoover there! Any other suggestions? Or has anyone got a Which magazine report on hoovers?
