Kindle Fire v smartphone v paperwhite

I've had a paperwhite for years but wondering if upgrading to Fire is worth it, given that I can read & watch netflix etc on my phone.

I like the nightlight on the paperwhite as I often wake in the night so read in bed to send myself back to sleep, as well as just enjoying reading in bed and on holiday. I also find the fact that it's just for reading books less distracting.

Is it worth changing to a fire, or just use my phone?

I cannot get away with reading on my fire or my phone. The light is all wrong no matter what setting you have it on. Plus with a phone you have to turn the page a lot more often!
