I like the idea of Hunters (being tall i.e. long calves) but wondered if there were any other sites/brands to look at that were cheaper basically! TIA

I love my hunters but you can get wellies miles cheaper from any garden centre or B&Q/Homebase type place. My sis (who loathes walking, mud etc so wouldn't never splash out, boom boom, on posh wellies) got some from Homebase last week and they're absolutely fine. They cost about a tenner I think. Other upmarket brands include Aigle and I think Le Chameau but I might be investing that last one.

DH (weirdly) invested in some hunter welly socks and loves them.

Lidl have some fancy ones this week !

don't do fancy wellies

I don't think I do fancy wellies either - given my propensity for wanting to blend in! I'm more impressed about the length of boot on my calves more than anything.
