Non slip socks where can I get them?

The childminder says that ds needs shoes as he slips on the vinal flooring. He's not walking yet and I don't really want him to have to now relearn tottering about with things on his feet. Cm says you can get non slip socks. Does anyone know where from?

BerrieI know that they do adult ones in Debenhams but not sure about ones small enough for ds. May be worth ringing them to find out?

Berrie, totes toasties (slipper socks) are made for toddlers too, see their website www.totesuk.com
... you'll probably find them at your nearest dept store

Tommy · 02/10/2004 10:12

We've got some from Primark - cheaper than Gap!

hoxtonchick · 02/10/2004 10:14

true! oooh, might slip off to primark later

geekgrrl · 02/10/2004 12:21

h & m's children's socks are all non-slip - cute designs, too.

Hulababy · 02/10/2004 12:23

Gap socks come with non-slip rubber on the bottom. We've found the Gap socks good quality and keep their shape/size well.

DD will only have princess socks at the moment though so

popsycal · 02/10/2004 13:39

next have them

Joanne69 · 02/10/2004 19:42

I'll second what somebody said about Gap socks, keep their shape and they stay on. They normally have a deal, something like 3 for £8

zubb · 02/10/2004 19:45

is he wearing socks at the moment? if he went bare-footed would that help?

katzguk · 02/10/2004 20:00

was going to say primark too - nice and cheao 3 pairs for 1.50 i think, do you have one near you?

nutcracker · 02/10/2004 20:08

Another fan of the Primark ones here.
