Does anyone drive a Nissan Note? Would you recommend?

I no longer need a family car, but still need a decent boot size. Looking for something economical to run. No too fussed about what it looks like.

I have seen a used Nissan Note which is within my budget. Not driven a Nissan before.

Had one until recently - was a very decent little car. I had one, then my mum picked one up in the light of me having one, and then my stepfather followed suit.

If you get certain models you can move the back seats forward on it and have a bigger boot compartment as well which is handy.

No longer have it just based on the age of the car and DH wanting something bigger but it did the job for me well.

I had one. It was a very decent car. Not tremendously exciting but handled well and it's a great idea to be able to choose whether to compromise on boot or back seat space.

I have one. It's fine, decent car. Very good internal space. Nothing to get excited about driving wise though, if you like that kind of thing. Also the auto windscreen wipers drive me insane, excuse the pun!

I have one. It's cheap to run and fine to drive. I find boot space a bit small but I go camping. I found it difficult to put all our camping stuff in the boot whereas I could in my ford grand c max

If you’re buying second hand (because they are discontinued now) look at a Skoda Roomster. More boot space than a Note and all the back seats can be moved forwards or backwards, flattened, tipped up or removed individually, so incredibly flexible.

Thanks everyone, think I will go and test drive.

I never get excited about driving, just want something reasonably comfortable to get me from A to B.
