I really wouldnt waste your money on a double.

Get him a buggy board or seat to go.

ds1 was 3.3 (no puschair since 2.8) when dts were born so a double needed for babies and I toyed with the idea of a buggyboard but wouldn't have been able to push them all so he had no choice but to walk and has got very good at it helping to push etc...

you do have a choice and I would go for the buggyboard or nothing, pushchair will make him lazier.

At 3.5 def a buggy board a double would be a waste of money.

You could buy a phil and ted with a doubles kit then if you only use the second seat for six months you will still have a decent puschair you can use.

DS1 is 4 next week and still goes in the front of our phil and teds. Sometimes I go out with both seats on and DS2 in front so we have the second seat if we need it.

ds was 3.5 when dd was born . We had a kiddiboard but got very little use out of it, espeiclaly once the novelyt had worn off. Think you'll find a double heavy to manouevre and much better to play up being a big boy and walking nicely ( ie holding pushchair).

what about this

amidaiwish · 25/09/2007 11:11

DD1 is 3.5 and still goes in the buggy farily often as we have a fast 15 minute walk to the shops etc.
I have a phil & ted's - it is great as when she is walking then i use the double seat for my bag/shopping etc!
