Found this one guest bed, seems great value , but not sure of the company.

and also this great tradng one , but that seems quite costly once all the bits are added.

dd1 has grown out of her junior bed and needs som e more space , keep finding limbs off the bed !

Ikea do one, hang on, I'll find you a link...

TigerFeet · 31/08/2007 14:15

here y'go

Would love one for dd's room, but she has a built in bed over a stairwell so it wouldn't fit.

Lilymaid · 31/08/2007 14:15

Nice one from M&S currently at 20% off. Mattresses and frame will be good quality.

TigerFeet · 31/08/2007 14:16

Or you could buy a separate trundle and choose whichever bed you want

DarrellRivers · 31/08/2007 14:17

Tigerfeet , that is lovely, so does the bottom cupboard bit pull out with a mattress on for guest bed then?

tissy · 31/08/2007 14:17

Aspace do white and truckle bed underneath. Sorry don't have time to search the site at the moment, but am sure they do them!

tissy · 31/08/2007 14:19

this one, for example?

TigerFeet · 31/08/2007 14:20

DarrelRivers, yes it does, you can either fill the drawer with crap or put a mattress in it.

melsy · 31/08/2007 14:22

oohh I looked at that Hemnes one , didnt realise it had a guestbed too , that would be fab. and look really cool in her room with all cushions, great for growing girl.

M&s one is good too

oohh all this choice now !!!

My daughter has one from Ikea but can't remember the name - it's like a sofa shape, white with 3 sides and then a bed pulls out from underneath and it has drawers under it too. Good value I think.

melsy · 31/08/2007 14:23

ooh that Aspace one is nice too

Listmaker · 31/08/2007 14:24

Sorry yes it's the Hemnes one and has been really useful.

melsy · 31/08/2007 14:25

anyone know what size mattress you need for the under bed bit on the IKEA one ?? I can order it online. The only thing is that its narrower than a normal single.

My sister has the Hemnes one, but it actually turns into a double, not two singles so it might not be what you're looking for. It takes 2 80cm mattresses and they can either be side by side in the double configuration or on top of each other when it's a single bed.

DarrellRivers · 31/08/2007 15:18

I agree about the white company, so lovely yet a bit pricy.

this is a lovely bed, no truckle but you could get one to go with it (below)

We've got dd the White Company one. The bed is lovely, really solid and we chose one of their decent mattresses - again brilliant. We got the trundle thinking it would be good as underbed storage - or when the time cam, for sleepovers. But, it's not that easy to pull out and push back..it slides ok ebough cause it's on rollers but it often bumps against the bed legs and is a bit time-consuming to line it up really straight before it can go back in. Hope this helps...
