Help! Urgent! Can I buy a replacement remote for a Sony TV? Where From?

Our tv is about 16 years old but still a perfectly good telly. This morning ds dropped the remote. The casing has broken.

DH will be pretty upset when he gets home, if I can have a replacement organised it will help.

Please don't suggest replacing the TV. We've just signed up for a major double glazing project, and booked next years holiday, so no money for any extras right now.

Most places that sell TVs do replacement remotes too. Comet etc.

argos have a selection ranging from £8 and are compatible with most tv's. If you need it to work teletext then they have them too.
