Has anyone got/used this software for animation - Cosmic Blobs Deluxe

Ds1 (nearly 8) is very interested in animation and has been enjoying the animation bit of his Art Attack CD-rom. I wondered if this Cosmic Blobs thing would make a good birthday present but it is quite hard to tell from the description so wondered if anyone else's children had tried it?

Thought it was a long shot but bumping it up once just in case.
