Now that our first child has been born, we are looking at changing our car for a more roomy one with extra boot space.... someone recommended vw tiguan.... what do you think?

Err why would you need a 4x4 for a tiny newborn? As long as you ca get a car seat in it and a pram in the boot you dont need a bigger car.
