Are ready beds any good?

DD has definately grown out of her travel cot used at my dads. Is it worth buying a ready bed, are they worth the money or any good?

My DD's love theirs and we always use it for stays at Grandmas house etc but I'd say skip the "first ready bed" i.e toddler one and go straight to the junior. They can't fall out really anyway, and they outgrow the toddler ones so quickly.
