Not tiered - for a single cake - mainly birthdays and mainly childrens, but something that might double up for the odd adult birthday would be nice

I have a thing about cake stands.

lakeland had some good ones for kids parties but when I calleed in at the weekend they didn;t do them anymore

I've fallen for the Blooming Marvellous one. Can't afford this sort of indulgence but it's soooooo lovely.

what do you think happens if your banana is not quite that shape. I know my bananas can vary quite alot

I love my portmeirion cake stand. It may look plain because it is white, but it is so elegant and eye catching. Beautiful design, and shows off all cakes well!
