Twinkie · 30/09/2004 12:25

Is it just me who have seen these crap adverts on the telly or are they actually real and just really low budget??

Why would you call something Cillit Bang and if it does exist I am getting some cause it looked fantastic - will just decant it into a bottle saying waitrose rather than a stupid name like cillit bang!!

binkie · 30/09/2004 12:31

"the price already is almost impudent"

mothernature · 30/09/2004 12:32

binkie · 30/09/2004 12:33

oh yes, and the person who posted the review, even their posting name got translated ... to "old cow"

binkie · 30/09/2004 12:38

god I can't stop: from mothernature's site:

My result therefore: Finger away of this cleaner, which is still much too expensive and to it hardly effect points!

motherinferior · 30/09/2004 12:59

#The shower cubicle is again and again the favourite of each housewife and in a household'...

Eh? Mine isn't!

JanH · 30/09/2004 13:06

As translations go, "Eiegntlich one should not hear on the TV Wernung, above all not if her is so reisserisch opened, as for Cilit fear for." is lacking something...

Crockster · 27/10/2004 16:55

I just wanted to buy some of the bloody stuff. My local Tesco is always sold out!!

sweetkitty · 28/10/2004 19:34

fairyfly · 28/10/2004 19:37

Bloody hell - that is SO spooky!! I saw this the other day and thought, 'must put a thread on to see if people think this is real'!!!!!

It looks like a wind up doesn't it!?

whizzz · 28/10/2004 20:09

But has anyone tried it ? Is it any good ??

kkgirl · 28/10/2004 21:28

I've got some, there was an offer on at tesco. I have just used it to clean cloakroom basin, and I wouldn't say it was that brill, I usually use that bathroom CIF ,Mousse or JIF Cream, so don't get too excited, and what a daft name.

marthamoo · 28/10/2004 21:31

I have never heard of it (spend too much time on MN and not enough watching telly) but that scary woman with the Pinocchio nose really freaked me out then!

Crockster · 28/10/2004 22:45

I am disappointed that its not that good KK Girl, but I should have known by the daft advert. Is that guy who advertises it (Barry or whatever) supposed to be famous???????

jojo38 · 29/10/2004 00:04

I tried it too. Its not that bad. I too did my cloakroom basin. It came up really good. stupid name. I have yet to try it on other things.
