please?

Got given some lovely Ceylon tea but it is all finished. Afternoons just aren't the same without it.

my favourite is assam or kenyan. kenyan is very strong, i have it with milk. i also like earl grey which i have without milk
kenyan for breakfast, assam for everyday and earl grey for a thirst quencher

i fyou are really keen find a nice teahouse and ask for a selection

fruitymum · 28/08/2007 17:21

Twinings breakfast loose leaf is very nice

lummox · 28/08/2007 18:03

Thanks for that fruitymum. Will give it a go.

MAS - lapsoung is one that I don't like. Too smokey I think. Thank you though.

Nailpolish - I was thinking some sort of independent tea sellers, but live in France so can't very easily get to a tea house. Had a fond hope of being able to order something online.

Not a leaf tea but have just discovered Tick Tock tea. It's yum and no caffeine

boo64 · 28/08/2007 22:14

For something terribly posh (mwah mwah darling) try Fortnum and Mason Orange Pekoe. Lovely

CountessDracula · 28/08/2007 22:18

oh lummox
There is a divine tea shop down the rd from me called orange pekoe

I will bring you some of my faves
and the big tea bag pouch things in which to put them!

CountessDracula · 28/08/2007 22:23

btw did you get my email re date?

lummox · 29/08/2007 08:35

I did CD - sorry, been a bit hectic. That date is fine. Will email. Tea would be wonderful - guess you will have a bit of room in the car on the way out!

boo - will check out the Fortnums one next time I get some time off in the big city.

I have tea direct tea bags for when we can't be bothered with a whole pot malarky if it is just me and dilmah for when we are both having it and fancy a bit of ritual.

Am not posh but like really nice tea.

Oh I drink it without milk though so may be I am after different flavours.
