C-class estate, A6 avant or 3 touring?

Please could anyone who has one of the above share the positives and negatives. Thank you.

The A4 Avant is the equivalent of the C Class Estate and the BMW 3 touring. The A6 Avant is a much bigger car, more like the E Class and the 5 series.

We tested all 3 and went for the Mercedes. Much nicer to drive and the finish was better. On first glance it appeared quite a bit more expensive, but if you spec the Audi and BMW up to the same level as the standard Merc, there’s not much in it. This was 3 years ago, but can’t imagine it has changed much.
