Was thinking of getting an amazon fire tablet for myself ( can't afford an iPad but know these are the best) I mostly want it to store photos. Surf the internet ect. Is it worth a buy? Anyone have any reviews ?

It's very good value for money I think. DH has one and I use it sometimes when I've left my iPad somewhere. It's great! He really likes it too and uses it a lot.

I have one that I use daily.

I have a laptop that I use mainly during the day and keep my fire by my bed. I use it to check emails first thing, search the web for anything that comes to mind at night (insomnia) or before I get up. Set up Alexa routines, install new Alexa apps and generally check Alexa and my FitBit stats. Play facebook games and card games, store (and occasionally take) photos. It's also what I take with me on holiday to keep up with facebook and read in the dark (I have a kindle for daylight).

I've never used an ipad but for the price I don't think you can beat the Fire.

My husband and I both have one and we love it. It's perfect for browsing online, watching movies, YouTube, Kindle, games etc. If you don't need something high powered for work purposes, I don't see why you would need anything more.

I bought the new 10" fire tablet for my mum for Christmas.
