Best kettle?

Seem to have spent a fortune on kettles in the past (Dualit and Siemens being very expensive mistakes ), so can somebody recommend something decent that will withstand extremely hard water area?

We too have had many many kettles - we even reverted to a traditional on the hob type for a couple of years we were so fed up. We currently have a Krups one from John Lewis which was a wedding gift from some lovely friends

Will check out Krups, thanks. Anyone else?
