I want to send my friend in New Zealand a birthday present and thought it would be really nice for her to get something that I haven't wrapped really badly or worried that it wont get there in one piece etc etc. So I thought there must be somewhere on the web that either will send to NZ or is in NZ so it might not cost me as much in postage(!). Help please because it will be her birthday really soon and I'm always, always late !!

Polgara, I just googled "gifts new zealand" and loads of NZ sites came up - books and flowers and arts and crafts and lots more. Check them out for p & p etc.

we sent the christmas presents via amazon.co.uk last year. The postage can actually be really reasonable too.

Thank you. JanH - will check those ideas out. Chuffed - thanks had never thought of Amazon! Am always a bit unsure about using websites that I don't know anything about, thats why was hoping that someone may be able to give me recommendations. Anyone else got any ideas?

The only one I've used was for a baby gift. It was a NZ site and worked fabulously.

I've used the New Zealand Gift Shop , and they were fab!

Postage from NZ to UK was really reasonable, arrived quickly and there was even a little chocolate bar tucked into the packaging! I imagine that within NZ they'd be just as good

Thanks again - will go and check out latest suggestions. Knew it would be a good idea to ask on here
