Cotton-lined light rainjacket?

For a 6yo (girl) and an 8yo (boy) - so unisex if possible - light enough they can wear or carry them themselves, but with a bit of a windcheater factor. Petit Bateau used to do them, but they've outgrown the ones they've got.

Petit Bateau now only do heavy-duty (and heavy) imperméables sort of things.

Millets, Blacks, Snow'n'Rock etc. etc. have thick parkas or pac-a-macs with no lining.

Zara looked promising but light styles only for girls. Assistant rolled her eyes sympathetically when I wondered why all the boys' stuff weighed a ton & had 39 studded pockets.

Where haven't I tried? Help please!

Have you got Regatta near you - or look on www.regatta.co.uk?

I got dd (aged 4) from Adams about £8.00. They fold into a pocket on the back and have a clip so you can attached to your bag.

Thank you - I had a look at the Regatta range, but no cotton linings ... Adams, however, so nearly perfect! - though the older boys' version is synthetic-lined (weirdly unfair that, don't you think? - every other version has nice cotton) and - the size I'd need (ds is huge) is sold out.

Thanks so much for the ideas, though, and if you have any more I'd love to hear.
