Which report for car seat boosters- Does anyone have it?

Im need to get the next stage car seat for DD. In my car which we use a lot I have the maxi cosi booster and we now need another one for DH s car. I dont want to spend a lot as we hardly use his car and this car seat will really just be a back up.

Does it mean that the more expensive it is the safer it is or because they are only hi back boosters does it not matter.

Do the boosters have a safety rating or are they all the same. Im looking for a cheapish one for a 2nd car.

kbaby do you really need two? They are much more transferrable than the previous stage seats. We have always needed two because of our childcare arrangements, but just wondered if you could manage without?

I prob could do with just one but its in my car and so DH sees it as a reason to have to use my car which means I always have to drive and pay for the petrol. He thinks it takes too much time to get the car seat out.

My car has been in the garage a fair bit lately and theres been a few times when I forgot to take the car seat out which meant I couldnt go anywhere. The 2nd seat would really just be a back up.
