What do people think of Quinny Buzz?

Hi! New to all this (chat and pregnancy!) had decided on a travel system for bump, only to find out that the car seat won't fit our car! Only one that will is the maxi cosi, which is compatible with the Quinny. What do people think of this as I liked more traditional, sturdier looking systems and am now really struggling to find a solution to my dilemna. Please help!

in my experience yes i avoid quinny found their customer services unhelpful and aloof unwilling to accept any feedback and palmed me off with urban buggy just for short trips excuses. imo qulity is appalling and rickrty, even the finishing on zapp is shabby eg letters rubbed off after 2 weeks, the hood canopy stitching where joins with pram is unfinished eg not double stitched and the hood canopy is poor fit and wind whistles through it

i don't like to use the car seat on the pushchair frame. to me car seats are that - seats for the car and nowhere else, so it didn't bother me that our car seat didn't fit our pushchair.

I didn't find that the Buzz tipped, however the Bugaboo did once when I turned it round on a bit of a gradient . I don't like the look of the Zapps, they don't look very well designed and too upright.

Re build quality, the Buzz really did seem sturdy in terms of the metal frame - the only comment I would have is that the hood is a bit flimsy and not big enough (I like pram hoods to really extend so that you can have the baby in near darkness if they are napping, as with the Techno). Having said that I really can't claim to have 'tested' it very thoroughly as it had fairly light use when I used it.

Personally I think the 2006 Buzz is better than the 2007 model (you can still get them on Ebay) - the seat is roomier and easier to clean. Didn't have to test out their customer service though I have heard before that it isn't great.

I had a bad zapp. It was supplied with its hood sewn incorrectly. It was sewn sort of inside out. Their customer services didn't care so I just gave up and kept it but didn't use the hood. Then the whole thing fell apart really fast so gave up.
