Help! Trying to assemble Bugaboo Gecko

We've got a new bugaboo gecko and we're halfway to assembling it - we've got the frame on the chassis but now it's stuck! The instructions say to press the two white buttons on the sides of the frame, but only one side has a button. Is this normal, and how do we get the bloody thing off?!

you slide the button forward or backward then the whole of the white bit on each side pushes in and the unit lifts off?????

Thanks CarGirl - was yours really stiff when you first got it? DP managed to get it off with lots of effort but I don't want to reattach it in case it gets stuck again!

mine was 2nd hand but there is def a knack to doing it???? Try the silicone spray over the black sticky up bit? Also are you meant to have the seat at a certain angle when you attach/remove it?
