Anyone recommend one-pocket-sized job.....

I got this one for my birthday a couple of weeks ago - I'm very pleased with it so far.

No suggestions but I'm keen to hear recommendations; I have a three-year-old Cybershot which is fine except for an annoying time delay. Also a bit bulky. Might replace it if there are some really excellent little cameras out there...

Why do you need 7meg? Are you printing posters? It is a waste of memory space IMO. Lens is far more important than meg. (google "megapixel myth" for more info - I am just heading to be.

Canon Ixus are supposed to be good.

I have my eye on this canon ixus 70 ,it was recommended to me by professional photogrpher friend,he has an ixus 90 which is more expensive.

Thank you all-am off to lookk at the Ixus.

I find the time delay annoying on my cybershot and my "big" one is just too big.
