I want to buy a cd for my dd's 1st birthday... to include some of the sings we sing at toddler group: row, row row your boat, jelly on a plate, 3 fat sausages, twinkle twinkle, insey spider, if you're happy and you know it, etc etc... anyone recommend a good one? tia. spod.

Early Learning Centre "Favourite Songs" or something like that. They'll drive you mad but seem to be very popular with my DSs and DS1 now knows the alphabet because that song is on it!

M&S ones are slightly less depressing than elc ones

We have a great one from M&S - called Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes I think. DD loves it.

Spod - I got DD a Cd player from woolworths complete with 10 cd's full of the songs you mentioned. If you like, I could make you a copy of one?

Yep, definitely the M+S Heads Shoulders Knees and Toes, dd loves it and it has all the songs you mentioned. Every time we go in the car, dd asks for the "purple music" (the tape is purple).
