Ideally I'd love something that doesn't have a TV charcter on it, since he's so little. Any ideas, he's a classic, no it's scratchy child!

My ds had some lovely Boden pj's once. Really soft (pretty expensive) but worth it as they did last and wash well.

Try Asda, Tesco for value, Mothercare if you want to spend more. I've got some really nice ones from both Asda and Tesco without TV characters on - fish under the sea, animals etc. They wash really well and tumble dry well too - DS1's are now being used by DS2.

Vertbaudet sometimes have some lovely ones. I got some nice brushed cotton ones from there.

Great Little trading company do really nice ones for boys, with firemen, pirates and astronauts. Good quality. gltc.co.uk

M & S do some lovely brushed cotton ones for winter that don't scratch

sazzybee · 17/08/2007 19:14

The White Company do lovely blue and white striped ones in really soft cotton

choosyfloosy · 17/08/2007 19:15

[whisper] Primark. I had two lovely pairs from there, one set plain blue top with blue plaid trousers, other set plain cream with burgundy plaid trousers.

If you can afford not to fund sweatshops, and indeed can afford to buy a sweatshop, Rachel Riley.

Really we should make our own, shouldn't we.

I'm an expert. I have a 'nooooo it's scratchy' child and he's 7. He wears his pj's under other clothes often.

Big vote for the White Company. Very soft, In stripes.

M&S have some good ones at the mo - but as we have discovered to our cost - some with writing or pictures on the front are a bit hard on the other side, if that makes sense.

Boden good too.

Such an expert I'm just repeating what everyone else has said.

DS has some nice ones from Debenhams
Also v soft ones from Petit Bateau but only buy when the sale is on

daisydog · 18/08/2007 22:40

I got DS2 the most gorgeously soft brushed cotton PJs in Primark - cream with a dinosaur print - they cost next to nothing, wash beautifully, really cosy and look so cute!

MintyDixCharrington · 18/08/2007 22:43

buy boden with a discount code
then sell on ebay and get at least half your money back
makes them very good value

yogabird · 18/08/2007 22:45

ditto the white company - their sale is on now

jenkel · 22/08/2007 18:19

My dcs had some lovely Gap ones last Christmas - sofT and so cute in a traditional plaid.

MuffinMclay · 22/08/2007 21:41

White Company. Just bought lots for ds in their sale, exactly the same as he has now but in the next size up, because they look so lovely on him (until weetabix stained).
