Travel/portable highchair. Which one????

Please can you advise on a travel highchair? I have tried the Tamsit and it isn't really suitable for DS. I would really like one with a 5 point harness, but not sure on the ones which attach to the table. Thanks in advance.

i got an attaching to the table one from John Lewis - about £25 i think.

I bought Mothercare's travel highchair which has removable legs for transportation and folds flat and has five point harness. Excellent value at about £30 (had to buy two, one for my mum's house, so price was important).

I'm in North Kent if you want a secondhand one for a spare. Totally understand if you want a new one but just thought if you only wanted it for a trip you could have mine.

It it wasn't so far, I'd take you up on it. But I'm in Cornwall. Thanks anyway

Just checked out Mothercare. Their 'On the Move' highchair looks good but it's £45. Kbear - Is that the one you meant??

We've got the foldy up one that fits onto an ordinary dining chair - very cheap in ToysRus or somewhere like that and very practical

eidsvold · 26/09/2004 08:24

we got one that was safety first I think from memory - about 20 quid - folds up so easy to take along and it fixes with straps on the back and bottom of the chair. also has removable tray.. think it was john lewis we got it from. It has a harness that goes around the waist and between the legs.

I've got a Handysitt which is great, you can attach a 5-point harness if you want. Bought it years ago for DS so don't know how much.

alibubbles · 27/09/2004 10:35

I've got three Handysitts, great because I can hang them up out of sight when I am not minding, take up a lot less space then highchairs.

dot1 · 27/09/2004 15:02

another vote for Handysitt! Excellent chair - once we'd bought one we ditched our highchair at home, and are about to buy another one for ds2!

dot1. I wish I'd looked on ebay, there are several there, I have just bought another from Boots.com as they ahd 10% off and 500 extra points.

Oooggs · 27/09/2004 16:48
