My friend is after a wooden moses baseket stand that has wooden sides rather than the plastic ones that fold up.

Anyone know were she can get one from???

the one I have is one that folds.

Mine folded together but was all wood - ends were wood and the base of the basket was wood and the sides basket rather than the palm leaf ones you see iyswim....see what you mean - just looked at john lewis and it has plastic ends and a clip at the bottom - ours looked nothing like that.

she's after a wooden sided one as she wants to attach a mobile to it -and the plastic ones wouldn't be strong enough.

Ours is a Mamas and Papas wooden stand, which we bought at John Lewis. It's U-shaped and you can set it up either to rock or to stay still. It doesn't fold (we thought the folding ones looked less stable). We were very happy with it.

OldieMum - can a cot mobile be attached to the side?

Ahh I see what you mean - our cot mobile was a clip on one and so it just clipped on the side of the basket.
