Hi folks, i am thinking of trading in my mutsy buggy to get a phil and ted's in preparation for the arrival of baby no.2 in oct. have had a look in the shop and it looks pretty good, but can't be sure it would fit in the boot of my car when folded. i have renault clio (2004 version, so the one before the current shape). the guy in the buggy shop reckoned it should fit, but i would like to know for sure before i order it. anyone got any first hand experience please???? thanks

Will the guy in the shop not let you try it out for size??

Hi,
I don't have a Clio,so I don't know if this will help but the P&T was the only double that would fit in the back of my Peugot 306.

The shop or the P&T website should have the dimensions so you can check.

I have a clio!
(slightly old but the same shape as the 2004 one)

yes the phil and teds fits in my boot

BUT i do have to take off one of the wheels (which does only take a few seconds but is a little annoying), also when in 2 toddler mode the oterh toddler seat has to be detached as well to fold it.

So yes it will fit, but may get a bit annoying taking the wheel on and off every time.

Also there isnt much room for that muhc else, but i often manage to get a lot of stuff on top of the pushchair anyway, but would be abit annoying if (like me) you keep a lot of 'stuff' in your boot.

If its just or mainly the buggy though it shouldnt be a problem

Helloooo, just wanted to say I have a little 5 door Fiesta, and our P&T fits easily into the boot without needing to take any wheels off. Don't know about Clio's but I'd definitely get the guy to help you try it out for size.

Hi I have a Phil and Ted and my other half has a 2004 clio and we can fit it in the boot leaving the wheel on, but you have to take the parcel shelf out. As NL stated you can not get much else in with it though.

I have a very old Fiesta with a tiny boot and the P&T is the only double buggy that fits my boot.No need to take the wheels off but I have to take the parcel shelf out.I got mine imported from the states, but went to Mothercare first to check it would fit ok.
