Popsycat, if it's the wooden one that fits all the other makes of track then yes, dd has it and it's as good as most of the other wooden sets. It's very similar to the Brio/ELC ones.

popsycal · 23/09/2004 20:51

yes that is the one!
Thanks for that
thinking about christmas pressies for ds

popsycal · 23/09/2004 20:53

The track is very good and well worth the money. However, not sure the trains are quite as good - they don't corner as well as the ELC/Brio ones and frequently get de-railed by our bridge.

mckenzie · 23/09/2004 21:09

very happy with our Tesco bits, the fit nicely with the Brio and the ELC bits. Not abig fan of the Sainsbury version though.
(For what it's worth, a carpenter friend, when given a piece of Brio track and a piece of Tesco track and asked which was better quality picked the Tesco one)

popsycal · 26/09/2004 19:17

so this ELC one is compatible with the tesco one?

What we were thinking is, we would buy the basic train set from Tesco then if people asked what to buy DS, we could just ask for the 'extra' bits for it - and if they can be bougth from tesco or ELC, that would mKE LIFE A OT EASIER....
anyone know for definite?
