Antilop highchair - how do you remove the tray?!

Can someone please tell me how to remove the tray from the highchair?

The highchair is fantastic, we waited 6 weeks for our local Ikea to get the trays in, and having been very pleased about how easily I slotted it in, it now won't come off. And it turns out DS prefers it without the tray!

Help anyone?! Supper time is approaching and I can't face the ensuing tantrum!

it can be done - with difficulty! You've just got to pull - really hard!! Hold on to one of the legs and put your forearm down on the tray and yank. I just tried it on mine now and it worked. Good luck ;)

I should say face the front when you're doing it and pull upwards. IF that makes sense.

Pull the front edge up hard and it will come away there. There are two little hooks at the back that should slide out as you lever it up.

Just pivot the tray upwards in teh front. You have to be quite firm with it.

Hurrah! Tantrum averted. You're right, you do have to pull really hard. The first time all that happened was my hand came away with remnants of rice cake on it ! The 2nd time the tray came off with a crack, and I looked nervously expecting the slot things to have broken off. But they hadn't. Good thing you warned me it would be a struggle or I would have given up. Thank you so much.
