Olaplex

I have long hair in reasonably good condition. Everyone seems to be raving about Olaplex (including my hairdresser who doesn't sell it!) I've tried the shampoo 4 & conditioner 5 for about 5 washes over 2 weeks & my normally shiny hair is worse - frizzy/fly away & feels dry. Does anyone know why it's not working?

I don’t much like them either. It’s the treatments that are the 💣.

I use number 3 once a week, leave overnight and wash off with number 4 and 5. I use other stuff to wash my hair the other 2 times a week. It’s definitely made a difference.

Snap, I bought it and my hair has gone the same... I'm going to go back to my usual hair products!

Not 100% sure but is it because you are meant to have had the salon treatments 1 and/or 2 first?

AnchorDownDeepBreath · 09/10/2019 08:21

I have had the salon treatments.

I talked to my hairdressers this morning; they've said the home treatments aren't all that and not to worry about them. Not sure if that's the standard view; but I don't think I'll be buying them again, especially given the cost!
