How to find lost keys?!!!!!
Spanna2 · 21/09/2004 16:42
My 86 year old Nan keeps losing her keys! We are trying to find a gadget that will help her and us find them! We would like one that is like a remote control type one that you press and it activates an alarm on the key fob. Cheapest I've found is £35...need one a little cheaper. Anyone know where to buy one?

I could do with one of those as I am always losing mine!

my feriends nan used to loose hers all the time, once they found them in the freezer
second time she left them in the front door for 2 weeks (!!!) whilst she was on holiday
you can get those whistle and beep things

I had a whistle and beep thing. It went off at almost any loud noise except my whistle (I practised and practised but although I could make it work when I knew where the keys were, it didn't work when I didn't.
It lasted two hours before it got taken off my key ring and got slung in the corner of the passenger footwell. Now it beeps when certain songs come on the radio or when DD screeches - I call it the 'You're Being Too Loud' monitor.

If you have the gadget from StuartC's link, what's to stop you from losing the thing that you press to make the keyring beep? Am I missing something? (I've been very dim all day, so perhaps I am missing something)
