1001 stain remover I find really good at the time of the spill, or my mum swears by some stuff sold by QVC (Arrrgh) called "The Original No Wet Wonder Foam". Have to say I did use some when DD threw up all over the cream rug in lounge and that patch was cleaner than the rest of the rug!!
