Took my little boy to the doctors on Monday as he has got a dry spots all over his front, neck and back. The lady I saw who was an advanced health practitioner prescribed dermol 500 lotion but tbh my little boys skin looks like its getting abit worse. Anyone had experience with dermol 500 and switched to something else? Or anyone use certain products that keeps dry skin away on their little ones?

I’m not keen on dermol either. Try oilatum for the bath.
Or child’s farm products are meant to be a wonder for eczema type problems.
Aveeno is also great

personally my daughter and I both get on very well with Dermol but we use it only on eczema on our hands. body eczema wise I would always go with oats. Aveeno is great or just DIY with some oats in a sock/tights in the bath water.

Yes, I don't think much of it either, it doesn't seem to do anything. DS has eczema and we rub Hydromol into dry skin on his problem areas then let it get washed off in the bath we almost never need to use any steroid cream now.

We use it instead of soap in bath and has been working great!
