I’m currently waiting for help to come and rescue me in my 10 year old Golf. It’s broken down for the second time in as many months and it’s going! Problem is we have no idea what to replace it with.
2 DCs and only 1 car so we wouldn’t want to get anything smaller maybe a bit bigger. DH doesn’t really like SUV style. We’d love an electric car but it would have to be able to do at least 100 miles comfortably on 1 charge which rules out of most of the older models and what’s left is probably out of our price range. If not electric then petrol but not diesel. Would like an automatic but not essential.
Got around £8-9k to spend (inc part exing the Golf) but not against finance/loan to increase the budget.
