My 2 year old is obsessed with removing her arms from the build in harness / seat belt in her car seat. No matter how tightly I adjust the arm straps, she always manages to remove her arms! Obviously this is a serious safety issue so I end up pulling the car over to force her arms back through the straps / harness...200yds later, the arms are out again!! Can anyone help? We've tried 3 different baby car seats but would be willing to buy a new one if it was toddler proof!!

can you buy a playtray for your seat? Our Britax Renaissance had one...

That's really helpful, thank you Tissy. I've managed to find a play tray by Maxi Cosi that fits out two car seats. Haven't tried it out yet but I'm sure it will make it very difficult for her to have enough space to slip the arms out.

lock tite is cleared in USA for use on car seat straps but not in the UK, I've got one just to get a better fit and it works great - can also get it fastened quickly when she's having a strop then tackle the safety buckle with her partially constrained
