Playmat / quilt for baby girl or other ideas?

My absolute favourite and very close cousin and his lady had a baby girl this morning. Yay!!!!

Thought I'd get a quilt thing for them/her as it was my favourite present for DD1 that I still use all the time with DD2.

Any lovley ones that you've seen that you can point me to.
Or any other lovely ideas for me instead?

oh i know someone who makes fabulous quilts. just had a look at her shop and she only has a boy playmat in stock, which is a little more than you wanted to pay (priced in $ but she's in the uk), but for something you know to be lovingly hand made it's an absolute bargain. if it were me i'd contact her to make a quilt on commission, then let the parents choose fabrics/colours together with manda (there's a commission quilt in her shop so you can see the kinds of things she does). now that would be a really special, unique gift.

we don't, yet, but since ds2 is now 13m it may be time to invest in larger sizes!
