Where can I find a double buggy that converts to a triple buggy?

Hi, I am a childminder and will soon be looking after a 3rd little one, ideally I didnt want to buy a triple buggy as most seem too wide for doorways etc and I will only have 3 children 2 days a week.

I have heard that you can get a double buggy that converts to a triple but cant seem to find one anywhere? If not is there such a thing as a toddler seat to attach where you can fasten the child on (not like the seat to go as feel eldest will still be too little to hold on well)

If it helps the ages will be 15 mths, 12 mths and 10 mths

Any help appreciated!!!

What about a buggypod? They attach to the side of any type of pushchair and fold away when not in use. Suitable for children from 6 months I think. About £80 though so not cheap..

this one is a double but then makes a triple www.preciouslittleone.com/acatalog/LOBG3V.html

You need to talk to Blodwen she has just sold her triple buggy (pics below) www.mumsnet.com/Talk?topicid=2300&threadid=351060#7146070 It looked great.

Thanks twinkly I have looked at the buggypod but it just doesnt look too safe to me especially if attached to a double buggy rather than a single.

mumlove thanks for the links, the adapted buggy looked just what I was looking for shame I missed her sale! The double that then makes a triple could be an option.

Quadrophenia what is your triple like and how much are you selling for?

Loopymummsy that abc looks wonderful but very expensive!! can understand why your friend loves it!!!

my triple is a tandem style, am selling for £150

curiousaunt · 28/08/2007 13:18

Quadrophenia, have you a pic of your tandem? My sister has a toddler and is now expecting twins, and she is looking for a reasonably priced buggy with two seats together for the twins and one in front/behind them for the toddler? If anyone else knows, all help is apprectiated!

FussyGalore · 28/08/2007 13:55

i had that one loopymumsy!

bloody brilliant. extremely well made and would last forevr and resale value would hold well too.

i used to be a bit buggyaholic, and this was far and away the best one i ever saw/felt/used.

you can also get a single with a seat on top and a seat perched on front as well, i beleive.

i LOVED the seat on top for chatting to the eldest.
