Best 7 seater...

Hello,

I've just had my second child and looking at getting a seven seater car.

My children are 20 months old and 1 week.

I'm a single parent so often go out with both my parents or a friend and her toddler.

Am I right in thinking car seats can't go in the third row of many 7 seaters?

So I guess I'm looking for :

Seats for at least three adults in the car
Third row seats that an adult can comfortably sit in
A car that three ( sometimes four if possible?!) car seats can fit in

I've tried reading reviews and it seems the seat alhambra, Ford galaxy and possibly Skoda 7 seater would be best but I would prefer to hear from people who have these, or other 7 seater cars , that would fit what I need and what your personal experiences are.

Also is there anything else I need to consider?

Many thanks in advance

I hired an Alambra for a week, drove DH. DMum, DDad , DS (who was 17yo and tall) DD (who was 15yo and tall) , DMums walking frame .

DC sat in the back, it was quite comfortable for them.
Seats can fold right down flat

Sensors make parking a doddle even with such a big motor , and sliding doors .

It was a huge change from my hatchback and I don't ever want to own one but it was a good car. ( Even had an icon that pinged up on the dashboard telling me to have a break and a cup of tea when we got near a service station) .

Galaxy gets my vote

Hire one to be certain as often all the crap you have to carry needs more space, we had a Mazda Bongo carried 8 adults and had a small boot, one of the best vehicles we ever had, 5 years of trouble free motoring

7-seater Ford Galaxy. Had it for a year, love it. I took it for its first MOT and told the mechanic I was worried there'd be something big and expensive wrong with it (it's an 8 year old diesel). He snorted and said 'These things are tanks!' One new light bulb later and passed its test. Incredible acceleration for such a big car, interior definitely designed for family use. Can't fault it Smile
