a second hand ELC easel. it's red but the same design as the current one. has a storage tray. perfect working order but can't get all the paint off and the blackboard side could do with a coat of blackboard paint. new ones are £30

i'm going to advertise it in a local shop but would like some ideas on how much to charge.
Thanks

£5?

I tried to sell a similar one at a boot sale recently, that didn't sell even at £2

Oh, at least a fiver (well I wouldn't buy one now but YKWIM!). We had a very wonky old wooden one and I got a fiver for that. Whatever you ask for someone will offer less, so put £10 and see what happens!

Good grief - I just went and had a look at it out of curiosity - what a monstrosity! Pink and lilac? What are these people on?

should i sell it as it is or would it be best if i painted the blackboard

Depends how scuffed-looking it is, aq. It would make it look a lot newer if you did it, but unless you already have a tin of blackboard paint, or will be able to use it again (???) the cost comes off what you get for the blackboard.

(On the one hand...but on the other hand...but then again is there a third hand...I do this all the time, drive myself nuts! )
