does anyone know of any good games that can be played alone, suitable for a 5yr old and/or 8 yr old?
We already have one called rush hour (traffic jam puzzle) which is great.

we are rush hour fans too

just asked dd (8) she says 'patience' she's got a book with loads of card games in but there are also plenty on the internet

elc used to do one called "Whatever Next" - really good fun and only a fiver
