Need to get a new car.
Want to pay in the region of £230 a month

I can't work out if I want to go down the pcp route.... or go slightly more secondhand and have an hp contract, but at least I end up owning something

I currently have a car I can trade in for £4K which would be the deposit
I have 2 kids in primary ... they are growing and I do the school run
I also put c. 1300 miles on the clock a month with a commute

Any advice or comments welcome!

You can own the car with PCP, maybe google what PCP is all about.

From a financial perspective HP is usually cheaper but not always, the payments are usually more per month with HP as PCP has the final payment at the end to makeup for the shortfall.

PCP gives a little flexibility if you want it.
