vw golf engine stopping in mid-drive

I thought pergeots had this problem. Check the watchdog archives. Sounds v v v dangerous.

i used to work at a vw garage and I do recall this happening once before there - with a golf I think also - assume you've taken it in?

Is it stopping as you're actually moving or when you are stopped at traffic lights?
