Toothpaste that isn't minty?

Because DS is now 6 and has grown out of strawberry flavoured stuff for babies and can't stand the mint.

Any recommendations?

DS1 is like this. I asked the same question a while ago and was told that Boots do an apple flavoured one for older children. DS1 likes Colgate sensitive, as it's still minty but no too strong - its the mint taste he dislikes as well

We have an orange one we got in a health food shop.

I accidentally bought some bubble gum flavoured stuff from Walmart the other week, on hols in the USA. I wonder if ASDA do weird and wonderfuls here?

Don;t health food shops do some decent alternatives?

There was a Colgate Bugs Bunny one in bubble gum flavour. Totally revolting though! Not sure if it still exists, dd has been on adult paste for some time.

ChasingSquirrels · 29/07/2007 20:40

ditch that - it says it is mint, although i certainly dont remember it being minty

Thank you all. Will hunt around for some of those - was rather thinking it might be a much rarer thing but those suggestions suggest I just need to look in the shops.

The new one we got is called Big Teeth and I tried explaining that it would help him get his big teeth (milk teeth still firmly implanted) but he stared at me and said "No, you get big teeth because the new ones grow underneath and the old ones pop out. Duh?"

So, no pulling the wool over his eyes then.

Might give the bubble gum flavour a miss though!!!
